Chaplain's Blog
After looking at the blog, I realized how fast time goes by.  The last blog I filed showed snow on
the ground, and our old pooch playing in the snow without a care.  Since then, the snow has
melted.  In fact we are just about through summer and heading into fall.  The old pooch and
family friend had to be put down.  Where does time go?  The thought that comes to my head for
your consideration is simply; Have we taken the time to pursue what is really important in our
lives lately?  The scripture posted below, tells us that God knows what we need.  He also is
willing to provide All that we need.  Again and again, in scripture I'm reminded how God's love is
UNCONDITIONAL, but God's blessings are ALL CONDITIONAL.  The blessings require our
obedience and faithfulness.  God's love is always there.  He loves us no matter what, and right
where we are at.  He loves us enough to also not just leave us there, but to encourage us and
empower us for change.  Consider today, what is God trying to teach you about life; about what
is truly important.  Take the time to have a two way conversation with Him and see what He is
trying to tell you.  If you get the time, write me and let me know what He is teaching you.
Matthew 6:30-33 (NLT)

"And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here
today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care
for you. Why do you have so little faith?
“So don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat?
What will we drink? What will we wear?’
These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your
heavenly Father already knows all your needs."
Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live
righteously, and he will give you everything you need."
